I adore the design of this lamp, however, the implementation is lacking in several areas.These lamp-shelves are not sturdy at all. They are difficult to assemble and the legs which screw together are easily cross threaded - which potentially will mean that leg will never be sturdy. While the legs are made of some sort of metal, it seems to be a sort of die-cast softer metal. The downward facing bulb is extremely difficult to remove - the mount into which the bulb is screwed is easily dislodged from however it's attached, making removal nearly impossible without breaking the bulb and using a pair of pliers. Within a week of receiving these, the twist knob for the lamp has become unreliable - when turning the knob to turn the lamp on, the lamp doesn't come on. Wiggling the knob sometimes makes the proper connection, but more often than not, I just rotate the knob to turn the lamp off and on again.Excelente inversiónBought used, stated it was in good condition with just some package damage and minor defect on top shelf. Well, was actually entirely missing the glass shelves and the lampshade. Couldn't contact seller for replacements and didn't want to deal with return stuff so put it together anyway. Decently sturdier than expected, easy to assemble despite lacking instructions. Used lampshade off my old lamp and gonna look for something to replace shelves. Exactly what I needed to fit in my apartment space without blocking a heating vent since the open design of legs. So would be good but, just wish had all the parts.I was going to buy this item at the furniture store. Amazon had the same product cheaper so I got it. I have this light from back in the day and wanted another one. I thought they stopped making them. I put African Art on my shelves to display and it looks awesome.I use it in a corner by my couch. Love the lighting options. Myself,I did not find it that easy to put together. After studying the diagram, I had to reconfigure some of the rods. Could have come with some better instructions.easy frame assembly.lighting from bottom lamp is nice. using a a hue a19 top light and hue par16 downlight. lighting from the top light casts some odd shaped shadows on the ceiling.The glass shelving is not finished properly. They literally cut corners and the shelves do not closely fill the metal frames at each level. The edges of the glass shelves are rough cut with no bevels or polishing. Will probably replace the shelves, overall it is a nice lamp otherwise.First, it came sooner than expected which was great. I really liked the simple design and the variable switch so you can just light the display area or just the top light or both. The only (little) negative I had was that the assembly instructions weren't really clear and I assembled it from the bottom up which was wrong. You have to start at the top where the wiring is. That's also something I liked about this lamp that the wiring is all concealed.I would definitely recommend this product and the price was right.Lamp was delivered broken. But after reporting the issues to the shipper I was sent replacement parts. Over all it is a beautiful lamp and I love that there is multiple lighting options.
